To our and dear valued patients,
We hope this newsletter finds you well and you, and your families and loved ones remain safe and well, especially now as the cases of Covid-19 are on the rise.
Our dedication and commitment to your oral health and well-being, has meant that we are still only one of very few dental Practices that are fully operational once again and back to “business as usual” putting us in a position to provide our full range of services from health checks and hygiene treatments, Invisalign, Dental implants and all of our other services, in a safe and caring environment.
Having ran our new systems since June, we are 100% confident in the safety of our processes and procedures.
Rest assured, we are also confident that despite the worsening situation of Covid-19 we are unlikely to close again as we did in the first wave. Current guidance from our governing bodies has stipulated, that if we have the correct processes and standard operating procedures in place, we are safe to provide dental care during the pandemic.
Currently, this is also the case should we move from Tier 2 to Tier 3. As we have done throughout the pandemic we are here to support, help and care for our members in any way we can.
As you did previously, if you need an appointment, we would like to welcome you to please CALL US and we will book you in! Please bear in mind though that we are still operating on an appointment only basis. This is to ensure we can ‘screen’ all patients before they come to the Practice for the safety of our other patients and team members.
We are proud to say the planning and designing of our new car park and extension is now well under way. The car park will provide us with 8 additional car parking spaces, and allow us to have a dedicated space for wheel chair users. This will ensure you will be able to park at the Practice for each of your visits.
The extension will allow us to extend the patient lounge, and provide a new dedicated access from the car park to the Practice, which will also be fully accessible for wheel chair users. This will also tie in with a complete refurbishment of our current reception area and patient lounge.
The project will be split into 2 phases. We will be starting with the car park as this is the highest need for our patients. We hope this will be completed and ready to use by January 2021. This will be complemented with a “rebrand” of the Practice to help us stay modern and current. Look out for more details on this in future newsletters.
We are also very pleased to report that the new model of working that was introduced in June is working extremely well and ensures you that will receive the highest level of care and treatment possible by seeing the appropriate clinician for your treatment, along with reducing your wait times for these services.
By being forward thinking and proactive as a Practice we have now run this new system since June and the feedback from it has been excellent, and been welcomed by our members. It has also allowed us to keep our membership fees the same and absorb the cost of the enhanced PPE, despite reduced surgery space, increased working hours and increased running costs with working in the ‘new’ world.
Thank you again for your continued understanding, support, encouragement, loyalty and patience during this time. We sincerely hope you and your families remain safe and well and we look forward to seeing you again soon for face-to-face care. In the meantime please stay safe!
